Waste less money... Waste less product

A few months ago I found out this little trick after realising I could never get the last bit of product out of the tube, then the other day I realised why not share my little secret so you can have a go and get the most out of your products.

Step one- Get your product, I used this John Frieda Shampoo but you could use moisturiser or face wash e.t.c anything in squeezey tube similar to the one showed.

Step two- Use a pair of scissors and cut all the way across at about halfway so you have a top half and a bottom half.

Step three- When you look inside you will see there is a decent amount of product left, I was very surprised when I first did this with a face scrub and I got another 8 uses out of it. If there is any product in the top half  scoop it out with clean hands or a spoon then drop it into bottom half. Then squeeze the bottom half at the top so it curves around a bit and then slot the top over it so the product does not dry out.

There it is! So quick and simple yet so useful, you then take the top off  and scoop out the product
you need then replace the lid.

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you have any tips or tricks on saving money when it comes to beauty then comment below as I am always on the lookout.

Skincare Routine

So this is my daily skincare routine, I use quite alot of products so sorry that its quite long but before it gets any longer I will start.

NOTE: my skin is quite oily and blemish prone.

Every Morning

When I wake up I wash my face with the Simple Kind to Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel as it really wakes me up as well as making my pores clear. Then I apply Simple Moisturiser before applying my make up as eventhough I have oily skin it is still best to moisturise.

Every Night

At night time I have more products than the mornng as I have to remove my makeup and any dirt or grime from everyday. Firstly I scrub my face with the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pore & Shine Daily Scrub which really helps prevent blemishes and oilyness. I then wipe my skin wit the T-zone shine control cleansing wipes as again it really helps prevent oilyness and also stops spots. I then put some Anne French Cleansing Milk on a otton pad for a deep clean and remove all of my make up including eye make up as you cannot use the wipes on your eyes. I then finish my skincare until just before I go to sleep I put a small amout of moisturiser on my face.

When I remember

I try to use these when I remember as they are really great products. The facial toner is really good and makes a dirrerence to my skin as use it about five times a week. I try to use the Soap & Glory Fab Pore 2-in-1 Mask and Peel once a week as it is a really deep clean if left on for the full time of 15 minutes. The Neutrogena Rapid Clear treatment is great to make spots virtually invisible and a great product for those dreaded breakouts.

What are your skincare staples?

July Favourites 2014

Its that time again... monthly favourites and again I have a few products I have been loving this month.
Make up
Rimmel Scandaleyes Gel Eyeliner

I have tried gel eyeliner once before and I really liked the finished look but I never repurchased as I found the eyeliner pens alot easier to apply. I have rekindled my love for gel eyeliner, it gives a
fantastic defined wing and is very long lasting due to it being waterproof. The only downside is the brush is rubbish but it is ok if you are not doing a wing. I recommend this but it may be best to buy a brush.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

You might have noticed this has been all over my blog recently, including a full review (linked here). I have to be wary on which mascaras I can and can't use due to allergic reactions but so far so good I have not had a reaction. The mascara has to be the best one I have ever tried it just gives so much length and volume and I have to say I love it!

Mark Hill Sea Salt Spray

I had never heard of Mark Hill products until this caught my eye whilst going around Boots last week. This can be used in wet or dry hair but personally I prefer damp. I let my hair partly dry, spray this in and braid my hair. I then undo my braid the next morning and the waves are alot more beachy and natural and have found they have lasted all day.

Body Shop Rasberry Shower Gel and Body Butter

I got these in little sample pots from the Body Shop and I love them. I found there was two uses in the pot as a little went along way. I will defienetly be buying the full size of these products as they are amazing.

I hope you have enjoyed this post despite not having that many favourites. Please leave any blog post suggestions below or tell me what you have been loving this month.

Love you Guys
