July Goals

June has been one of the best months of the year so far, it has been incredibly busy, I have done some really amazing things and to top it off the weather has been gorgeous! The month started off with a busy week of work followed by my birthday where I visited Stratford Upon Avon, then more work and I also got to spend time with a lot of great friends. However, due to being super busy my June goals went straight out of the window!

1. Organise my time

I have started to do this a lot better and I can definitely see it has reduced my stress levels in turn as I have set aside time to see friends etc. However, I still haven't got a happy balance as I have been working until midnight and then getting up extremely early for work the next day meaning time to relax has still been very limited. I'm determined to set aside time for different things such as my job, socializing and then treat blogging as a job so I am more strict on myself to get posts out on time (shown by this post going out a day late! Sorry!) and schedule it into my day.

2. Spend time with my favourite people

I have a couple of free days in July and I am going to make the most of them and see people I haven't in ages or then people closest to me who I don't see as often as I'd like. I want to treat them and go out to actually enjoy myself.

3. Don't get so caught up on things

One thing I'm brilliant at is... overthinking. If it was an Olympic sport I would get a gold medal! But... seriously, it's not good, I spend so many hours wasting my time worrying about the smallest little thing that doesn't even matter. I need to start living more in the moment, finding instant solutions and speaking out if there is a problem.

4. Actually, restart YouTube

I have said 'actually' as it has become a bit of a joke that every month I promise to start filming again and then just don't. Maybe July is finally the month?

  1. My July goals are to enjoy the sport (tennis and cycling) and to try and eat a little bit healthier!
